For funded traders

A journal that watches your prop firm rules

Evaluation and funded accounts fail on rules, not on strategy. Set your limits once and see how close today has taken you before the platform decides for you.

Most accounts are lost to arithmetic

A funded account rarely fails because the trader could not read a chart. It fails because a daily loss limit was 4% and the day ended at 4.3%, or because a trailing drawdown moved up after a good morning and nobody recalculated it.

Those are arithmetic problems, and arithmetic is exactly what software should be doing while you trade.

What gets tracked

  • Daily loss limit — today's realised P/L against the number that ends your account.
  • Maximum drawdown — static or trailing. Trailing follows your high-water mark, which is the version that surprises people.
  • Profit target — how far into the evaluation you actually are.
  • Minimum trading days — the requirement people forget until the last week.
  • Consistency — whether one outsized day is carrying the whole evaluation, which several firms will reject.

Each rule shows a warning band at 80% of the limit. Not a red light after the fact — a number, while there is still a decision to make.

Several accounts at once

Most funded traders run more than one account, often at different firms with different rules and different balances. Each account here holds its own starting balance, its own rule set, and its own trades, and the dashboard can show one account or all of them.

The habit that passes evaluations

Log the trade with its planned risk before you know the outcome. At the end of the day the journal can tell you how many trades exceeded the plan, and that number predicts a breach far earlier than your equity curve does.

Traders who pass evaluations are usually not the ones with the best entries. They are the ones whose actual risk matches their planned risk on almost every trade.

Questions

Which prop firms does this work with?

All of them. Rather than hard-coding one firm's rules, you enter your account's starting balance, daily loss limit, maximum drawdown, whether that drawdown is static or trailing, and the profit target. That covers any firm's evaluation or funded stage.

What is the difference between static and trailing drawdown?

Static measures from your starting balance and never moves. Trailing follows your highest balance, so a profitable morning raises the floor beneath you and a normal afternoon can breach a limit that felt far away. Trailing is the one that catches people out.

Can I track more than one funded account?

Yes. Each account keeps its own balance, rules, and trades, and you can view them individually or together.

Does it connect to my prop firm platform automatically?

Not directly. You import a CSV from the platform, which every major prop firm provides, and the column mapper handles the format. Crypto exchanges sync automatically on a paid plan.
